What is the certificate of competence?
Since 2019 there have been new laws in Switzerland regarding who is allowed to offer what. It was high time that a clear regulation was laid down in the industry! The certificate of competence is the authorization to use devices with radiation and cold and to operate them commercially in accordance with the latest V-NISSG law.

Every person who wants to operate a laser used to need a 1-day laser safety course. In the new regulation, the user needs several modules (expertise) on technology, health protection and device use. It makes sense to ask your medical beautician for this certificate if you are unsure.
